It's amazing
How you make your face just like a wall
How you take your heart and turn it off
How I turn my head and lose it all
Last tennis match with Gabe the past Friday which was an epic 3 setter @ 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. Score, free lunch at Real Seafood Company. Took 3 hrs to complete with a side trip to Amers for food coz I would have fainted otherwise. Said bye to soccer mum and had a last ride in his noisy, gasoline smelling car.
Birthday dinner that night with a bit of Tango thrown in and stout at the Grizzly Peak with Dian. Was good stuff.
Saw Joon for a last tennis rally and said bye to him after not seeing him for months. Funny how things change. Spent 3 hrs after running around like a headless chicken and packing up the house and my own crap. Oh the chaos. Dinner at Shalimar where Ed's voucher was put to good use and for the first and last time, a milonga @ the Phoenix center which had amazing floors and was a great place for dance in general. Perfect Tango end.
Sunday lazing with episodes of 30 rock and leftover risotto. Yum. After much lazing away the afternoon on the couch, decided to head to Michigan Theater and watched "The Secret in their Eyes" which without a doubt is one of the best movies I have seen in some time. Boy has good taste. Mongolian BBQ for the first and last time, meh was decent. Went home and watched more tv with Paris Je T'aime which was adorable, funny, heartwrenching, sad and amazing all rolled into one.
Woke up to a stormy Monday, grabbed lunch at Fleetwood, Hippie Hash definitely lived up to its hype. Got the luggage out and then headed back. BBQ that night and a whole bottle of wine which resulted in quite an inebriated me laughing over episodes of 30 rock.
Then the goodbye the next day. It's a wonder I was coherent enough to get on the plane.
