Live Love Laugh~ We spend our lives barricading ourselves from feeling, from the worse things that can happen to us, when all we really want to do is fall into it with open arms. Maybe then we can stop the worrying that someday, something bad will happen to us.

In your head
It's one of those days where all you're doing is living. inside. your head. Where something close to exhaustion is pushing you into a reality that you might have not wanted to consider too deeply.

Past
I often wonder what the future me will think of the me right now. As fashion and trends recycle continuously there is this longing to return to the past. But not OUR past. Not the past of an Asian country, no, a past of a westernized civilization that even back then was so intriguing and so different from the kampung house on stilts or the alleyways of hutongs. The dominant cultural forces on a global scale have not changed in favour of Asians' leading the charge. Not at all.
On other notes, my 20's needs to be filled with challenges and excitements, with travels and love and life and letting go of expectations. I want my MBA, I want my year in China and I want to make a difference. Start something, change something.

Reunions
That trepidation of getting on a plane, flying x hours and meeting someone again. Conjures up memories of a past that no matter how much you attempt to grab somehow never comes back to you the way you really want it to. That when you realize both of you have trundled down a divergent path of life so that when you meet once again you're not sure of what to say to each other. How do you sum up the years in between the last goodbyes? All the day to day, hour to hour and minute to minute thoughts that have slowly evolved and fundamentally changed.
But the truest friends remain there, in your memories, you just have to remember to reach out to them every so often, to give them a hug and to make them feel remembered.
Barnyard semi-reunion.

It's one of those days
A million thoughts often pass my head from the moment I wake up to the moment my head hits the pillow. Meetings, people to meet, people I should meet, people I should be keeping up with and recently it feels as though I'm not doing that. That every single day there's someone out there that I should be catching up with about life and all I'm doing is chasing appointments, making appointments and forgetting them just as easily. There's not enough time in the day to truly catch up with everyone who means something to me. Sporadic emails, calls, txts, messages, across phones, skypes, gchats, face to face meetings. Schedule has been on a hectic roll very recently as slowly but surely everyone finds their niches and re-establishes themselves after university.
It's a fun time, but also so far removed from a time where I had classes, lectures, YHO events, meetings. I remind myself of Sheldon in some ways, in that there's always a schedule-except mine is just to NOT stop moving-. But I think the thing I fear most is to jump off that bandwagon into a non-schedule-less world. That would scare me. Because it would make me realize that despite all my movement, it really accounts to nothing in the end, the world is not going to stop spinning.

Born to Die
Feet don't fail me now
Take me to the finish line
All my heart, it breaks every step that I take
But I'm hoping that the gates,
They'll tell me that you're mine
Walking through the city streets
Is it by mistake or design?
I feel so alone on a Friday night
Can you make it feel like home, if I tell you you're mine
It's like I told you honey
Don't make me sad, don't make me cry
Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough
I don't know why
Keep making me laugh,
Let's go get high
The road is long, we carry on
Try to have fun in the meantime
Come and take a walk on the wild side
Let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain
You like your girls insane
Choose your last words
This is the last time
Cause you and I, we were born to die
Lost but now I am found
I can see but once I was blind
I was so confused as a little child
Tried to take what I could get
Scared that I couldn't find
All the answers, honey
Don't make me sad, don't make me cry
Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough
I don't know why
Keep making me laugh,
Let's go get high
The road is long, we carry on
Try to have fun in the meantime

Happy?

Food for thought. What was life like without living our lives and earning our earnings by sitting in front of a screen, a keyboard and moving boxes around. Seriously, the more I look at WHAT it is that I actually do, the more I am in wonder that I actually get paid for it. Corporate. Yeah. Corporate.
Got my Cambridge Satchel-gorgeous stuff, absolutely gorgeous, beats a Chanel any day :). And how else to treat it then to a glorious rain-stormed Lee Hom concert in Stadium Merdeka. heh, so like life isn't it, that the day I debut a new bag it rains =S. Speaking of which, I can stare at Lee Hom on a screen...forever. Truly. Hot.
Tennis balls by the net. Probably 50 of them. 50 netted tennis balls. Jeezus, new goal is to make that count half. I rather have a long shot than a net shot. Might just regret it soon.
Good catchup with Michigan girls over quite frankly disgusting French Toast the Last Polka + Amazing Deep Dark Chocolate to soothe the pangs of disappointment. Sitting outdoors talking about Central Banks, Devil Wears Prada moments and flying across half the world to prove a point. Ah. Everything's changed yet nothing's really changed has it?
