I often wonder what the future me will think of the me right now. As fashion and trends recycle continuously there is this longing to return to the past. But not OUR past. Not the past of an Asian country, no, a past of a westernized civilization that even back then was so intriguing and so different from the kampung house on stilts or the alleyways of hutongs. The dominant cultural forces on a global scale have not changed in favour of Asians' leading the charge. Not at all.
On other notes, my 20's needs to be filled with challenges and excitements, with travels and love and life and letting go of expectations. I want my MBA, I want my year in China and I want to make a difference. Start something, change something.
