That trepidation of getting on a plane, flying x hours and meeting someone again. Conjures up memories of a past that no matter how much you attempt to grab somehow never comes back to you the way you really want it to. That when you realize both of you have trundled down a divergent path of life so that when you meet once again you're not sure of what to say to each other. How do you sum up the years in between the last goodbyes? All the day to day, hour to hour and minute to minute thoughts that have slowly evolved and fundamentally changed.
But the truest friends remain there, in your memories, you just have to remember to reach out to them every so often, to give them a hug and to make them feel remembered.
Barnyard semi-reunion.
